This piece, “Dear Future Me” is a series of pieces written to myself. The collection of pieces (click on the PDF link to view all pieces), were part of my final project. I found that throughout the class a lot of my writing was centered around my past, present, and even future life, so I wanted to somehow connect all of them together. The final product was in an envelope addressed to myself. The letter contained all the pieces and photographs to go along with most of them. The goal of this specific piece was for me to be able to go back one day, read it, and reflect upon where I was at in life. “Dear Future Me” holds a lot of meaning to me as it is extremely personal. The collection of “letters” holds a lot of pride because it is a curation of who I truly am.
