A huge part of writing and designing is the revision process. It is important to not only receive a peer review, but actually take their questions, comments, and suggestions into consideration. I believe there is an enormous amount of value in receiving feedback from other people with different viewpoints and ways of thinking. It allows me to understand and look at my piece from different perspectives.
There are multiple suggestions that I received through peer review that I will be incorporating in the final draft of my portfolio. For example, I will make sure all my writing fits on the page, find a better way to hyperlink my work, and change out a photo with one that better fits the rest of the color scheme throughout my portfolio. I want to use this advice because I know it will make my portfolio that much stronger.
Other revisions I have/will do include creating a “back to top” button at the bottom of each page, making sure all my pages are cohesive when it comes to color and design, and also consider including another piece to showcase. These revisions could also make my portfolio stronger and allow me to show who I am even more through that added piece. I know what I have to do to finalize my portfolio and bring everything together, so I plan to work hard to make that happen and create something I am extremely proud to show off.
