PORTFOLIO MIND MAP: A MINDFUL REFLECTION

For this mind map, I chose to connect three different pieces that are apart of my portfolio- Dear Future Me, I Remember, What is Writing?, and my creative marketing pieces. The main concept is my own personal writing, and my sub concepts surround aspects of the pieces themselves, how I feel about them, and the emotions they may portray.
How to read the Mind Map below: each title sits within a colored bubble. Those colors can also be found under each sub concept on the exterior of the map. If the piece fits within that sub concept, I placed its corresponding color beneath it.

I made a number of connections between all three pieces. Each one is a work in progress, includes photos, videos, or other creative aspects, they are all deep and thought provoking, and they are also reflective in one way or another. That reflective aspect may be a reflection of my life, my thoughts, or any idea/concept. I found both Dear Future Me, I Remember and What is Writing? to be vulnerable and personal.
Overall, I learned quite a lot about myself and my style of writing by reflecting and creating this mind map. I learned that I write very personal pieces that are deep and meaningful and that I also have fun with my "writing". I put that in "" because I don't believe writing comes in a specific form or style. I believe writing can take any form and is simply a way for me to express myself.
Hey Allison!
I really loved the way you did your reflection in a visual way. This aesthetic is amazing!!! Great job!
